Rebecca (Becky) Ann Urban was called to her heavenly home on Dec. 25, 2023 in Lehighton, Pa. after a lengthy illness.

Becky was born on Oct. 15, 1967, in Houston. Becky was baptized at Beautiful Lutheran Church in Houston and confirmed at St. John Lutheran Church in Cypress. She attended school in the Cy-Fair School System.

She loved plants and could grow anything. She especially loved blooming flowers. While growing up, and being the proud Texan she was, one of her favorite things to do was ride horses with her cousins, the McCormick gals of Hearne.

She is survived by her mother, Nita Urban of Giddings, her finance’Rick Wentz of Lehighton, Pa., her daughter, Alexis and husband Ty Bachelor of Seguin, and her son, Jaice, of Pennsylvania. She is also survived by her brother Russell Urban and wife, Cody of Giddings, her aunts, Lucy Walker of Corpus Christi and Linda and husband David of Warda, nephew, Jarrett Urban of Giddings and grandson, Reed Bachelor of Seguin and numerous cousins and friends who loved her very much.

She was preceded in death by her father, Clarence “Buddy” Urban, her grandparents, Clarence and Martha Urban and Alton and Virginia Sammons.

Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service for Becky on Saturday, Feb. 3, 2024 at 2 p.m. at Phillips and Luckey Funeral Home in Giddings.

Memorials may be given to Immanuel Early Childhood Care Building fund, Giddings, Texas or the charity of one’s choice.

We pray that you, dear Becky, tend His flowers above. While basking in His eternal love.
