Tiemann

Fred Henry Tiemann, age 77, passed away on Aug. 22, 2024 at his home in Oldenburg.

Fred was born on June 24, 1947 to Ernst Fred and Lila (Wolff) Tiemann. Fred was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith at the same church, St. John’s Lutheran Church of Warrenton.

He attended Round Top-Carmine ISD and was a truck driver most of his life. After retirement, Fred enjoyed watching old western movies and spending time at home.

Fred is survived by his son, Chad Henry Tiemann and wife, Christy; daughter, Rachel Elizabeth Tiemann; sister, Annette Tiemann; and grandchildren: Cassidy Tiemann, Sadie Tiemann Wells and Jaxon Tiemann Wells.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Elton Tiemann and his parents: Ernst Fred and Lila Tiemann.

The family would like to thank Brazos Valley Hospice for the excellent care given to Fred.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Koenig-Belvill Funeral Home & Cremations on Saturday, Sept. 28, 2024 at 10 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution may be made to Brazos Valley Hospice, 1048 N. Jefferson St., La Grange, TX 78945.
