Svoboda

Edward Lee Svoboda, 76, of Lockhart, passed away on Tuesday, March 4, 2025.

He was born in La Grange on Jan. 17, 1949 the son of Frank Henry Svoboda and Adela A. (Srubar) Svoboda. Edward married Verlene Faye Chovanec on Feb. 24, 1968. Their union was blessed with love, laughter, and three daughters: Lisa Lynette Lewis, Shelley Marie Smith, and Angela Renee Svoboda.

Visitation, Rosary and Funeral Service was held at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 207 E. Bell Street, Fayetteville, on Monday, March 10, 2025. Edward was laid to rest following the service at St. John’s Catholic Cemetery in Fayetteville.
