Walter Ray Stolle, 79, of La Grange, passed away on Friday, April 26, 2024.

Walter was born in La Grange on Feb. 8, 1945, the son of Kermit and Elsie (Janda) Stolle.

He married his soulmate, Dixie (Schutz) Stolle.

Walter worked as a Supervisor in construction at GHD services for 45 years before his retirement. After retirement Walter enjoyed being on his tractor, maintaining his property and most importantly spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Dixie Stolle; son, Leroy Stolle of La Grange; step-daughter, Tammy Parosher; sister, Doris Jean Stolle-Jurica and husband, George Jurica, of Katy; two granddaughters: Cheyenne Stolle and Laurel Parisher, both of La Grange; one grandson, Cameron Parisher of Austin; and the light of his life his great granddaughter, Sapphire Ray Stolle of La Grange.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Kermit and Elsie Stolle; grandparents: Otto and Minnie (Chollett) Stolle and Fred and Pauline (Hein) Janda.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Koenig-Belvill Funeral Home & Cremations. Family received friends from 5 to 7 p.m.

Funeral Services were held at Koenig-Belvill Funeral Home & Cremations at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, May 1, 2024. Burial followed at La Grange City Cemetery.
