Soto Hernandez

Maria Dolores Soto Hernandez, 42, of La Grange, entered into Eternal Rest on Saturday, June 19, 2021.

Maria was born in San Juan de Guadalupe, Durango Mexico on April 5, 1979, the daughter of Demetrio Soto Orona and Socorro Hernandez Mendoza.

She attended a technical school in Mexico studying various secretarial courses.

Maria moved to the La Grange area in 1998, working in the bakery for Weikel’s Bakery in La Grange and later for Hruska’s Bakery in Ellinger.

She is survived by her parents; two sons: Jesús Galvan, Jr. and César Alejandro Soto both of La Grange; two brothers: Homero Soto and wife, Olga, of Smithville; Eric Soto and wife, Elva, of Flatonia; sister, Sonia L. Soto of Smithville; five nieces: Viviana Soto, Wendy Velez, Edna Soto, Eliza Soto and Sasha Santos; six nephews: Richard Soto, Christopher Soto, José Angel Soto, Allan Soto, Jesús Velez, and Eric Soto, Jr.

Funeral Services were held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 539 E. Pearl St. in La Grange, at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 24, 2021. Burial followed at La Grange City Cemetery.
