Sloyan

On April 24, 2023, James Michael Sloyan went to be with his Lord and Savior in Heaven.

James was born on Oct. 29, 1952, in Houston to Jim and Shirley Sloyan. In 1976, he married Janice Sloyan. James was a Master Plumber for over 40 years. James was a loving husband, dad, brother, grandpa, uncle and friend.

James is preceded in death by his parents and brothers-in-law, Leo and Michael Zapp.

James is survived by his wife, Janice Sloyan of Ledbetter; sisters, Barbara Zapp, Patricia Zapp (Robert) and Sharon Clifton (Randy) of Walhalla; his sons, James Sloyan (Terry) and Jason Sloyan (Xochi), both of Pearland.

He leaves to cherish their memories his grandchildren, Michael and Carrie Sloyan, Jimmy and Ashley Sloyan, and Analia Alkan and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for James Sloyan are scheduled for Friday, April 28, 2023 at 11:30 am at the Fayette Memorial Funeral Home in La Grange with interment to follow at the Florida Chapel Cemetery in Round Top.

A visitation will be Thursday, April 27, 2023 from 4-6 p.m. at the Fayette Memorial Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution can be made to the American Cancer Association.
