Schulz
Marie Antonia (Noack) Schulz, 93, of Winchester, passed away peacefully on Monday, Nov. 17, 2025.
Marie was born on March 31, 1932, to Lydia Alma (Jentho) and August Carl Noack in Winchester.
She was united in marriage with Raymond Wilbert Schulz on April 8, 1951, at St. Michael’s Lutheran Church in Winchester.
Marie spent most of her lifetime beside her husband on the farm. Balancing her time by also working outside the farm at Houston Natural Gas, Fayette Memorial Hospital and many years as secretary for Dr. Zatopek.
She enjoyed the outdoors, working in her yard and garden, cooking and baking, serving her church with countless hours of dedication, as a Sunday School and Vacation Bible School teacher, assisting with Saturday confirmation classes, Youth League counselor and working fundraisers to establish the Winchester Area VFD.
Marie enjoyed singing, she knew the words and tune to so many country songs, you could find her singing these melodies at any given time. Her singing in the church choir and tending to the Altar Paraments of the church were by far her favorite duties.
She is survived by her husband of 74 years, Raymond and grandson, Kyle Sherman and wife, Tess; nieces: Brenda Rainosek, and husband George and Tracy Fields and husband Bob Lee; great nieces; great great nieces and nephews; cousins and cherishable friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Steven; daughter, Diana, and husband Richard; sisters and brothersin- law: Florence and Albert Goebel and Harold and Evelyn Imken, and great niece, Christina Gay.
Visitation was held on Thursday, Nov. 20, 2025, at Koenig-Belvill Funeral Home & Cremations of La Grange from 1-6 p.m. with family present from 5-6 p.m.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, Nov. 21, 2025, at 2 p.m. at St. Michael’s Lutheran Church in Winchester followed by burial in St. Michael’s Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to St. Michael’s Cemetery or St. Michael’s Lutheran Church.
