Schulz

Funeral services for Junell Schulz, 88 of Serbin, were held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 27, 2024 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Serbin with Rev. John Schmidt officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

Helen Junell (Pietsch) Schulz was born on Nov. 14, 1935 in La Grange, the daughter of Alfred and Minna (Walther) Pietsch. Junell was united in marriage to Alfred Martin Schulz on Nov. 1, 1954.

Junell passed away the afternoon of Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2024 at Towers Nursing Home in Smithville.

Junell is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, David and Carol Schulz of Serbin; her grandson, Christopher Schulz of Serbin; one sister, Frances Schumann of Nechanitz; two sisters-in-law and one brother-in-law, Eleanor and Eugene Jenke of Lexington and Mildred Schulz of Cedar Park, along with many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Memorials may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church in Serbin or to the charity of one’s choice.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Phillips and Luckey Funeral Home in Giddings.
