Schielack
In Loving Memory of Edie Faith Schielack It is with both sorrow and hope that the family announces the passing of their beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, and cousin, Edie Faith Schielack, who was called by the Lord to His heavenly kingdom on Jan. 19, 2026.
Edie Faith experienced the love and passion of her siblings—Skarlet, Bohen, Winnie, Jonah, and Dottie— while alive inside her mommy’s belly. Britney cherished coaching Winnie’s basketball and soccer teams during her pregnancy, and in the final weeks, the family celebrated Skarlet’s cheer team winning a championship and Bohen’s passion for basketball. Many nights were filled with love as Edie Faith was cradled in her mother’s belly, surrounded by the love and chaos of her siblings, with Dottie and Jonah often laying and sleeping close to her in bed with Mommy. Though they never heard her laugh or cry, they find solace in knowing she is in heaven with Jesus.
Edie Faith is survived by her loving parents, Brandon and Britney Schielack, and her devoted siblings. She is also remembered by her uncles— Brent Otto and wife Katrina, Stuart Schielack and wife Myste, and Alex Schielack, along with her cousins Kaedyn, Stone, Crew, and Koe. She was a treasured granddaughter to Chad Otto and wife Nancy, Janet Wannamaker and husband James Wannamaker, and to Ronnie and Bonnie Schielack.
The funeral Mass and burial was held at the Queen of the Holy Rosary Church in Hostyn on Jan. 22. Friends, family, and community members gathered to lay Edie Faith into eternal rest.
Edie is now fully alive— perfect and complete in Heaven—praying and interceding for others alongside the Saints, the Angels, our Blessed Mother, and Christ Himself.
As they navigate this time of grief, the family turns to their prayer for comfort:
Saint Edie, child of God, help us to embrace God’s will for our lives.
Remind us of our sacred vocation as families, called to love one another and lead each other to Heaven, and grant that we may remain steadfast in our calling. Give us the grace to rejoice in all our circumstances.
May we live our lives not for this world, but for the promise of eternity, until we are reunited together in a heavenly embrace.
Sweet Saint Edie, we love you and miss you, pray for us.
Amen.
