Schautschick

Funeral services for Ronald “Ronnie” Wayne Schautschick, 70 of Manheim, were held at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2022 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Serbin with Rev. John Schmidt officiating. Burial, with military honors provided by the Giddings American LegionYork Post 276, immediately followed in the church cemetery. Ronald Wayne Schautschick was born on April 30, 1952 in Giddings, the son of Albert Eldor Schautschick and Evelyn Dorine (Schubert) Schautschick.

Ronnie passed away suddenly at 1:30 in the morning on Friday, Oct. 14, 2022 at St. Mark’s Medical Center In La Grange.

Ronnie is survived by his wife, Nancy Schautschick of Manheim; four children, Marshall Schautschick and his wife, Angela of Serbin, Randolph Schautschick and his wife, Sonya of Manheim, Susan Sweeney and her husband, Ryan of Yoakum, and Stacy Schautschick of Giddings; eleven grandchildren, two great grandchildren; one sister, Bonnie Wenke of Serbin; one brother, Steven Schautschick and his wife, Dorothy of Serbin; one sister-in-law, Keeley Schautschick of Serbin; one brother-in-law, Douglas Brade and his wife, Janet of McDade as well as other family members, nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Phillips and Luckey Funeral Home in Giddings.
