Mary Louise Scates, 94, passed away on Aug. 7, 2023. She was born on Feb. 26, 1929, to Daniel W. and Henrietta Boehme Hitt, whose family could be traced to 1714 in Virginia.
Mary lived an active and very interesting 94 years. She was born in Tulsa and always considered Oklahoma to be her home state.
