Rippenhagen

Ronald Dean “Rip” Rippenhagen, age 64 of La-Grange, passed away May 4, 2024 at his home.

Ronald was born Nov. 20, 1959 in Brenham, Texas to Robert Jr. and Gloria (Demuth) Rippenhagen. He was a graduate of Brenham High School. Ronald married Sandra SoRelle Jan. 5, 1985 in Greenvine.

Ronald made a living as a transport driver where he was employed with Circle K Construction. He loved to fish and sing. Robert had a compassionate heart for helping others.

Ronald was preceded in death by his mother.

Left to cherish his memory are: wife Sandra Rippenhagen; father Robert Rippenhagen,Jr.; family friend Elvera Drews; stepdaughter Jennifer Stewart; grandchildren Diana Faulkner, Carolina Hopper and Cash Hopper.

Visitation was held Tuesday, May 7 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Brenham Memorial Chapel.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Greenvine Baptist Church with Pastor Jack Faulkner officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers were: Gary Steen, Nathan Steen, Russell Steen, Tim Hutchison, Adrian Everett, Allen Moeller, Larry Irwin, Cassius Oakes, and Randolph Schautschick.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Cancer Society, Hospice Brazos Valley, Greenvine Baptist Church.
