With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our father, Benny Gene Redman, 77, born on March 31, 1947, in Lubbock, who left us on Feb. 5, 2025, in Seguin.
Benny was the father of Natalie Redman Gray of San Antonio and Nathan Redman of Stockdale. He is also survived by sister, Susan White and her husband Travis; sonin- law, Scott Gray and daughter- in-law, Meagan Redman; grandchildren, Emily Beltran and her husband Aaron Beltran, Ryan Gray, Isabelle Russell, Brant Redman, Olivia Russell, Barett Redman, and Eli Rosson and great-grandchildren, Theo and Addie.

A lifelong resident of West Texas, Benny worked in the agricultural industry his entire life. He was a farmer, pilot, crop duster, and ended his career as a peanut warehouse manager. From an early age, Benny enjoyed music. He played the piano and trumpet. His talent in trumpet earned him a chair in the All Student USA band where he traveled to Europe and performed in concerts across the continent.
In his retirement years, Benny enjoyed riding his Harley and traveling to see sights across New Mexico and Texas.
A graveside service to honor Benny’s life will be held on May 3, 2025, at 10 a.m. at Resthaven Cemetary in Lubbock.
