Leona Bertha Shimek Padgett was called home to heaven at the age of 86 years of age on July 1, 2022 after passing away at Garden Villa Nursing Home in El Campo.
Leona was born in Fayetteville on Feb. 15, 1936 to the late John Shimek and to the late Otillia (Wychopen) Shimek.
