Anita Ann Jasek Neuendorff, 90, of Columbus passed away on Aug. 16, 2021. Anita was born on Sept. 11, 1930 to Tom and Annie Schneider Jasek.

On May 15, 1951 she married Charles Joseph Neuendorff. Anita and Charles resided in Columbus. They have a beloved farm house and land on Anita’s home place outside of Columbus; a Century Farm which has run cattle since 1887. This farm was the site for many family gettogethers over the years.

Anita was a wonderful cook and filled the picnics with her many specialties loved by family and friends.

Anita was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church where she was part of a quilting group. Anita donated many lovely handstitched quilts to the raffle at the church picnic over the years. She was very generous with her work and donated to fund-raisers for the Columbus Hospital as well. Anita’s beautiful stitch was seen on so many quilts that she graciously gave each member of her family. She made sure that each child, grandchild and greatgrandchildren to come would have one of her quilts.

Anita’s generous spirit and unwavering love will always be felt and missed immensely by those she left behind.

Anita is survived by her daughter, Linda Ann Nitschke and her husband Allan of Highlands; by her son, Thomas Leander Neuendorff and his wife Kim of Fayetteville; by her loving grandchildren, Jeff Nitschke and his wife Sonia and their children David and Olivia; Jessie Neuendorff Gibbons and her husband Jake, Emma Jane Neuendorff and Charles Neuendorff.

Anita was preceded in death by her parents, Tom and Annie Jasek, her beloved husband Charles and her infant daughter Deborah Kay Neuendorff.

A private funeral service with the family will be held at a later date. Memorials may be given to Columbus Community Hospital, 110 Shult Dr., Columbus, TX 78934.

Online condolences may be given at www.hennekefuneralhome.com.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Henneke Funeral Home in Columbus.
