Loretta Ann (Orsak) Naumann, 90, of Fayetteville, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, Oct. 7, 2023.

Loretta was born in Fayetteville on July 15, 1933, a daughter of Marie (Shimek) and Joseph Floran Orsak.

She married the love of her life, John M. Naumann on Nov. 3, 1954, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Fayetteville.

Loretta was the heart and backbone of the family and supported her husband and children with unconditional love. She was an excellent seamstress and also did upholstery, and draperies. She spent 40 plus years sewing beautiful things for homes and people. She enjoyed listening and dancing to polka music. Loretta was a member of KJZT and was recently awarded her 75-year pin of service. She was a devoted member of St. John’s Church and faithfully supported church functions.

Loretta is survived by her son, Wes Naumann and wife, Ava of Brenham; brother, Dennis Orsak of Fayetteville; sister, Madlin Petrofsky of Columbus; sister-in-law, Mary Orsak of Fayetteville; grandchildren: Blair Apfel (Matt) of Fort Worth, Haley Naumann (Michael Schmelz) of O’Fallon, IL, and Kyle Naumann of Brenham; greatgrandchildren: Brody Apfel, Case Apfel, and Brynn Apfel; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Loretta is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Marie Orsak; father and mother-in-law, Morris Naumann, Jr. and wife, Mary Becica; husband, John M. Naumann; son, Ralph Naumann; brothers: Albert and Joe Orsak, six sisters: Alice King (Paul), Emlee Key (Jim), Irma Kovar (Edwin), Marian Tschatschula (Gus), Doris Smith (Don), Baby Gladys Orsak, bother-law Paul Petrovsky, Gladys McCoy (Sam), and sister- in- law, Dorothy Orsak.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, Oct. 15, 2023 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Koenig-Belvill Funeral Home & Cremations in La Grange. Family will receive friends at this time. A Holy Rosary will be recited at 6 p.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Fayetteville at 11 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 16, 2023, with Rev Fr. Steve Sauser officiating. Burial will follow at St. John’s Cemetery in Fayetteville.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. John Endowment Fund or plant a tree in loving memory of Loretta.
