Janetta Morris, 81, of La Grange, passed away June 26, 2025. Born January 6, 1944, in Cuero, TX, she had a long career with Atlantic Richfield and later operated Colorado Landing and co-owned “that little paper.” A devoted member of New Life Methodist Church, she served her community through the Chamber, City Council, and various boards. She is survived by her son Dayne Choate, grandchildren, and extended family. A memorial service will be held at New Life Methodist at 10 am Saturday, August 2, with a reception following.
