Freda-Rita McInnis, 76, of Fayetteville, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 13, 2020.

Freda was born in Harlingen on June 21, 1944, the daughter of Clarence and Carol (Robbins) Mishler. Freda married Dennis McInnis on June 5, 1998, in Clear Lake. Freda lived her life dedicated to the Lord, family, friends, and always helping others. She loved to cook and garden and thoroughly enjoyed being a part of the Saltgrass Trail Ride on the Magnificent 7 wagon. She was forever finding time to smile and laugh all while enjoying the little things in life, whether it be a cup of coffee on the gazebo or watching the flowers bloom, she found the beauty and peace in it all. Her unconditional love could be felt like a blanket wrapped around you when you were in her presence. She will be missed, she will be remembered, she will be celebrated, but most of all she will live on through everyone she touched in life.

She is survived by her husband of 22 years, Dennis ‘Magoo’ McInnis of Fayetteville; son, Mike Allen and wife, Lana; sisters, Bonnie McLeod and husband, Ron; Linda Rhymes; brother, Rodney Mishler and wife Suzie; grandchildren, Megan and Cody Allen; great-grandchildren: Henley and Adelyn Spence.

She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Traci Allen.

In an abundance of caution due to the recent COVID-19 operating procedures, the funeral home and church will be following the recommendations of the Governor and County Judge. Facemasks must be worn in the funeral home and social distancing up to six feet apart must be observed.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, Dec. 19, 2020, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Koenig-Belvill Funeral Home & Cremations in La Grange.
