Lange
James “Jimmy” Lange was born on Dec. 1, 1939 in Burton, to Alfred and Evelyn Wendland Lange and passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 15, at St. David’s Rehab in Austin, at the age of 80.
In July 1969, he married his dear friend Leona Ulrich. They were married at St. Michael Catholic Church in Weimar.
Jimmy enjoyed going deer hunting with his buddies and going fishing with his family on vacation trips.
He is survived by wife, Leona of Weimar; daughter, Brenda Gindler and husband Henry; grandsons, Chase and Grant Gindler, all of Weimar; brother-in-law, Joe Ulrich and wife Joan of Weimar; niece, Debbie Wise and husband Kevin of Richmond; niece, Myra Dippel and husband Myron of La Grange; and nephew, Mark Ulrich and wife Veronica of Universal City; and many more relatives and friends who he loved dearly. He will be deeply missed by all.
Funeral Mass was held on Saturday, Sept. 19, at St. Michael Catholic Church with Father Wayne Flagg officiating. Interment followed at St. Michael Cemetery.
