Joel N. Jones “Joe” of Fayetteville, was born on Aug. 15, 1954, in Duncan, Okla. and died on Dec. 13, 2025, in Katy, after a brief illness, with family by bedside.

He attended Texas City High School in Texas City. He first worked operations at Getty/Texaco refinery in Velma, Okla. Then partnered with brother Roy at Mainland Tool in Texas City. In 1996, he started his own homebuilding business, A&J Builders in Tiki Island. Upon retirement Joe and his wife moved to Fayetteville.

Joe is survived by his wife of 49 years, Angela; son, Joel and wifeApril; and son, Jacob. His siblings include sisters, Donna Rochelle and Debbie Brasher (David) and brothers, Gene, Dean (Cheryl), and Roy (Sharon).

He was predeceased by his parents, Joel O. and Marie Jones.

Visitation will be held on Friday, Dec. 19, 2025, at Koenig-Belvill Funeral Home & Crematory in Ellinger from 12-1:30 p.m. Family will receive friends from 12-1:30 p.m.

A graveside service will be held at St. John’s Catholic Cemetery on Friday, Dec. 19, 2025, at 2 p.m.
