Hofmann

Barbara (Watson) Hofmann, 86, of La Grange, passed away on Sunday, May 30, 2021.

Barbara was born in Ft. Worth on June 21, 1934, the daughter of Oren Johnnie Watson and Fern (Ladd) Bonner. She married Charles Hofmann on Dec. 26, 1954 at St. Paul Lutheran Church.

Barbara worked as a sales clerk for Sears in La Grange for 50 years.

She is survived by son, Charles Fredrick Hofmann of La Grange; daughter, Phyllis Robinson and husband, Michael, of La Grange; brother, Dwayne Watson; daughter-in-law, Kim Hofmann; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Dr. John Hofmann and Carolyn Hofmann; three grandchildren: Ashley Midence and husband, Pablo; Sunny Lann and husband, Brent; and Shannon Bulgar and husband, J.W.; five great grandchildren: Abby and Luke Midence; Benjamin, Logan and Sydney Lann.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles Hofmann; son, Michael Wayne Hofmann; and brother, Billy Watson.

Funeral Services will be held at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, 800 N. Franklin, La Grange, at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 5, 2021. Burial will follow at La Grange City Cemetery.
