Born on Aug. 12, 1980, in Houston, Johnny was a beacon of light in the lives of those around him, known for his loving nature, his quick wit, and his friendly demeanor.
Johnny grew up in Houston and was a graduate of Waltrip High School. His passion for working with his hands led him to pursue a Welding Certificate from Blinn College in Brenham. In 2000, Johnny made the move to Fayetteville to assist with the family farm, a place that brought him immense joy and satisfaction. His love for the outdoors was evident to all who knew him, as he spent countless hours hunting, fishing, and simply enjoying the beauty of nature.
Johnny’s zest for life also took him on many adventures to South Texas with his friends, where they created memories that would last a lifetime. Johnny’s presence was a gift to his family, who he cherished above all else.
He is survived by his loving parents, Johnny and Vickie Hillman; his devoted sister, Tammy Westbrook, and her husband, Jeff Westbrook; his adored niece, Mackenzie Westbrook; his cherished nephew, Travis Westbrook; his aunt, Sharon Neville, and several cousins; and his aunt, Marilyn Phillps, along with numerous other cousins. Each of these family members will miss him deeply, remembering him as the heart and soul of their gatherings.

He was the kind of person who could light up a room with his humor and whose friendship was a treasured gift. Johnny’s ability to connect with people from all walks of life made him a beloved figure in his community and beyond.
