Glen Roy Hartmann was born to Lee Roy Ernest Hartmann and Doris Lydia (Mueller) Hartmann on Nov. 19, 1950 in Victoria. Glen was baptized Jan. 21, 1951 and was confirmed March 28, 1965 at St. John Lutheran Church in Rutersville. Glen graduated from La Grange High School in 1969.
