Gest Barbara Jean (Giese) Gest, 82, of Ledbetter, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Dec. 31, 2023, at Schulenburg Regency Nursing Center.
Barbara was born in La Grange on June 13, 1941, the daughter of William Carl Giese and Hattie (Moerbe) Giese. She married Louis Gest, Jr. on Jan. 29, 1960, at St. John Lutheran Church in Houston.
