Jack Lenny Frost, 69, of Muldoon, passed away on Saturday, June 3, 2023.

He was born March 17, 1954, in Marfa to Clyde and Margaret (Niendorf) Frost.

He spent his childhood in San Antonio, later moving with his family to Spring where he attended Aldine High School. After graduation he attended USL and played football for the Ragin Cajuns.

Jack served in the Houston Police Department for six years where he earned a Blue Heart Award. He later transferred to the Houston Fire Department, where he retired after serving 20 years.

After serving his time as a first responder in Houston, he moved to Muldoon to enjoy time on his property in the country.

It wasn’t before he took a job driving a school bus and working in the maintenance department for La Grange ISD. He especially loved the students, and they loved him.

Jack’s favorite hobbies were playing with the grandchildren, working out, running, making beautiful cedar tables and driving his tractor.

He and his wife Melodee were happily married for 26 years.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents and srepfather, Isdell Birnbaum.

Jack is survived by his wife, Melodee; his sons, Ryan (Danna) Frost, Travis (Mary) Stinson; daughters, Gina (Kyle) English, Alyssa (Jonathan) Hinson and his nine grandchildren; his brothers, Mark (Sylvia) Frost and Dan (Sueya) Frost; aunt, Carolyn Frost, Carleen Best, Patty Frost and uncle, Carl Frost.
