Fritsche
Carolyn Jane (Farrack) Lehmann Fritsche, 78, of La Grange, passed away on Friday, Oct. 21, 2022. Carolyn was born in Giddings, on May 31, 1944, the daughter of Herbert and Irma (Berger) Farrack. She was baptized on June 18, 1944, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Giddings. She was confirmed on March 30, 1958, at Bethany Lutheran Church in Houston. She graduated in 1962 from Spring Branch High School in Houston.
On Aug. 9, 1975, Carolyn married Stanley N. Fritsche at St. Michael’s Lutheran Church in Winchester. She was a loving homemaker who raised their four children. They were blessed to have shared thirty-five years of marriage. Carolyn was a devoted mother and grandmother. She was lovingly given the name “Grammy” by her family. Her greatest blessings in life were her grandchildren. She was dedicated to her family and never forgot a birthday or special occasion of her siblings, children or grandchildren. Her generous heart was to always give and put everyone ahead of herself. Carolyn was devoted to her Christian faith and was a very active member at St. Michael’s Lutheran Church of Winchester. She also served her community as Memorial Chairperson for the American Cancer Society, donated her time and talent putting together braille books in Giddings, was a member of the Rutersville EH Club, the Fayette County Extension Education Association, and Thrivent. She is survived by one son, Leonard (Lenny) H. Lehmann, Jr. and wife, Julie of La Grange; three daughters: Melissa Marie (Lehmann) Pinter and husband, Jamie of Kingwood; Pamela Dawn (Fritsche) Kaiser of Grapevine; Gina Renae (Fritsche) Marek and husband, Ryan of La Grange; three sisters: Jeanet Pietsch and husband, Clarence of Houston; Elna Koenning and husband, Delton “Butch” of Winchester; and Donna Chauvin of Pearland; three grandchildren: Lauren Lehmann, Jody Pinter, and Jessie Pinter; numerous nieces and nephews; along with her dog, Lucy, who was Carolyn’s faithful companion and was always by her side.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Stanley N. Fritsche; brother, Herbert Eugene Farrack; mother and father in-law, Carl and Lillie Fritsche; and brothers-in-law, Wayne Chauvin, Milton Muchnik, Melvin Fritsche; and sisterin- law Nancy Fritsche.
Pallbearers are Matthew Chauvin, David Farrack, Billy Morgan, Jeff Pietsch, Jacob Koenning and Justin Koenning. Honorary Pallbearers are Russell Chauvin and Kenneth Koenning.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2022, from 12 to 7 p.m. at Koenig-Belvill Funeral Home & Cremations in La Grange. Family will be present to receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m.
Funeral Services wereheld at St. Michael’s Lutheran Church of Winchester at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 27, 2022. Burial followed at St. Michael’s Lutheran Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, St. Michael’s Cemetery Fund, or to the Lutheran Hour.
