Fischer

Funeral services for Shirley Fischer, 87 of Ledbetter, were held at 10 a.m. on Monday, April 14, 2025 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Giddings with Rev. Robert Tiner and Rev. Joshua Hahn officiating. Burial followed in the Giddings City Cemetery.

Shirley Marie Fischer was born June 4, 1937 in Loebau, the daughter of Oscar and Amanda (Kasper) Beisert. She married Raymond Fischer on Jan. 12, 1957 in Giddings. Shirley worked outside the home for 42 years in the electrical wholesale business in Houston. After retiring, she moved back to Giddings. She was a faithful member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Giddings.

Shirley died on Monday, April 7, 2025 at her home.

Memorials may be made to the Train Up a Child Campaign at Immanuel Lutheran Church or to the charity of one’s choice.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Phillips and Luckey Funeral Home in Giddings.
