Gilbert Edward Canik, 84, of Industry, passed away suddenly on Sept. 20, 2023 in College Station.
He was born on Jan. 9, 1939 to Rudolph I. Canik and Lorena (Crenek) Canik in Frelsburg. On Oct. 6, 1963, he married Darlene Huebner. They were married for 31 years, until Darlene’s untimely death from cancer in 1994.
