Delmus August Brau, 89, of Round Rock, passed away Monday, Jan. 16, 2023. He was born Dec. 21 in La Grange and grew up in Round Top.

He lived in San Antonio from 1958 until his move to Round Rock in 2018. Delmus worked in retail auto part sales for over 40 years and was an active member of Shepherd King Lutheran Church and Anton Wenzel Hermann Sons Lodge of San Antonio.

He is survived by his daughters, Dawn Dilger (Patrick) and Doris Aichner; grandson, 1st Class Petty Officer Adam Aichner (Angelica); granddaughter, Laura Ancira (Michael) and Great Grandson Abel Aichner.

Delmus was the last born and last surviving child of the late Arno and Sophie (Knutzen) Brau and is preceded in death by his siblings, Amanda, Ollie, Kellie, Earl, Vernon, and Geneva and son-in-law, Thomas Aichner.

Graveside service was held Thursday, Jan. 19 at 11 a.m. at Florida Chapel Cemetery in Round Top.
