Boenker
Alvin Charles Boenker, Jr., known affectionately by friends and family as Chuck, passed away peacefully due to natural causes on April 29, 2024, at the age of 63, in Rutersville. Born on March 23, 1961, in Houston, Chuck was a man whose robust laughter and generous spirit brought joy to all who knew him.
Chuck’s early years in Houston were filled with a love for the outdoors, a passion that would remain with him throughout his life. After attending Blinn College, he embarked on a career that was both a calling and a source of pride. As a dedicated Water Lab Technician and Chemist for the Lower Colorado River Authority (LCRA), Chuck’s work was instrumental in ensuring the safety and quality of water, a vital resource for the community he served.
Family was the cornerstone of Chuck’s life. He was a beloved patriarch, survived by his devoted family members: his daughter, Danielle Ryan; his son, Nathan Boenker; his daughter, Theresa McKee; his daughter, Allianna Boenker; and his cherished grandchildren. Each of them benefited from his wisdom, humor, and the unconditional love he extended to them. His role as a grandfather was one he cherished with all his heart, and his guidance and stories will live on through his grandchildren.
Chuck’s passions were as vast as the Texas skies he so loved. An avid outdoorsman, he found solace and excitement in hunting and fishing, ranching, pursuits that allowed him to connect with nature and find peace away from the demands of daily life. His adventurous spirit was also evident in his love for riding his motorcycle, feeling the freedom of the open road and the wind in his face—a simple pleasure that brought him immense joy.
Chuck’s infectious enthusiasm and his ability to find the good in every situation will be deeply missed by his friends, colleagues, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him. His legacy is one of kindness, perseverance, and the enduring power of laughter. Chuck’s memory will be treasured in the hearts of his loved ones and his influence will continue to ripple through the lives of those he touched.
As we bid farewell to Alvin Charles Boenker, Jr., we celebrate a life well-lived and honor a man who exemplified the virtues of integrity, love, and the pursuit of happiness. Chuck’s journey through life was marked by the trails he blazed, the lives he enriched, and the natural world he so dearly loved. His memory will be a beacon of light for all who were fortunate enough to have been part of his remarkable journey.
