Duane Edward Bartek, 56, of La Grange, passed away at his home in La Grange, on May 27, 2022. A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m., July 2, 2022 at Fayette Memorial Funeral Chapel.

Duane was born July 22, 1966 in La Grange to Betty Jane (Zbranek) Bartek.

He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, Eddie Zbranek and Justina Zbranek.

Duane is survived by his brother, Michael Bartek of La Grange; sister, Brigette Bertsch; nephews, Dillon Michael Bartek, and Ryan, Connor and Derek Bertsch.

Duane was a lover of anything to do with cars, especially Nascar Racing. He enjoyed football, fishing and was a huge animal lover.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to the Gardenia E. Janssen Animal Shelter in La Grange, Texas.
