Baca Anita Marie Baca, beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother, 93, of Fayetteville went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, May 15, 2024.

She was born on Nov. 21, 1930 in La Grange to Annie and John E. Orsak, the second of two children. She married Raymond L. Baca, Jr. on April 15, 1950, in Ellinger.

Anita owned and operated Baca Pavilion dance hall along with Raymond for many years where they served hot dogs with her famous sauce. She was also a waitress at the Cottonwood Inn; clerk at Jerry’s Drug & Liquor Store; clerk at Westside Inn; and gate attendant at Oak Thicket Park.

Anita is survived by three children: Billie Joyce Bauer, Thomas (Snake) Ray Baca, Carrie Ann Kudela and husband, Mark; grandchildren: Julie Ann Bauer, Tanner Ashley Kudela, Taber Reese Kudela and Gabbi Ann Kudela; great-grandchild: Tyler Hall; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and loving friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond; sister, Doris Divin and husband Harry; brothers-in-law, Leonard Baca and wife Mildred, Jerry Baca and wife Naomi, Gilbert Baca and wife Flo, Kermit Baca; sister-in-law, Elizabeth McKirahan and husband Mac; nephew, Jerome “Skeeter” Baca.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 209 E. Bell Street, Fayetteville, Texas 78940.

Visitation and viewing will be held on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 209 E. Bell Street, Fayetteville.

Services will be on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 209 E. Bell Street, Fayetteville, at 10 a.m. with burial following services at St. John’s Catholic Cemetery in Fayetteville.
