Alma Lydia Johanna (Aschenbeck) Schmidt, 96, of Fayetteville, went to her eternal rest on April 26, 2023.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 3, 2023, from 12 noon to 8 p.m. at Koenig-Belvill Funeral Home & Cremations in La Grange. Family received friends from 6-8 p.m.

Funeral Services were held Thursday, May 4, 2023 at St. Paul Lutheran Church is Shelby, followed by burial at Haw Creek Cemetery in Fayetteville. A luncheon followed at the church.
