Absnaider

Funeral services for Tony Absnaider, 70 of Giddings, were held at 4 p.m. on Thursday, June 16, 2022 at Martin Luther Lutheran Church in Giddings with Rev. John Waak and Ryan Grube officiating. Burial followed in the Ledbetter Cemetery in Ledbetter.

Anton Frank Absnaider Jr. was born on May 28, 1952 in Bryan, the son of Anton Absnaider Sr. and Agnes (Knesek) Absnaider.

Tony passed away the evening of Sunday, June 12, 2022, surrounded by his family at his home in Giddings.

Tony is survived by his wife, Nancy Absnaider of Giddings; his three children, Lindsey and Gerald McKee of Giddings, Cameron and Carin Absnaider of Giddings, and Trevor Absnaider of Giddings; his six grandchildren of Giddings; two sisters, Frances and Jerry Kacer of Caldwell and Martha and Marvin Kacer of Caldwell; brother-in-law, Pat and Lois Lehmann of Ledbetter; sister-in-law, Nina and Pat Smith of Giddings, as well as several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Phillips and Luckey Funeral Home in Giddings.
