Ann Baker of Round Top, has received the following degree from The University of Alabama: Bachelor of Arts in Communication & Information Sciences. UA awarded 5,907 degrees during its spring commencement ceremonies on May 6-8.

Wilson Named to All-Conference Team, SJS MVP

Community Worship Service for Hostyn Set on Aug. 14

The La Grange Ministerial Alliance is planning a community-wide worship and praise service to benefit Queen of the Holy Rosary Catholic Parish in Hostyn. The service will take place Sunday, Aug. 14, from 4-6 p.m. at the KC Hall in La Grange.

Ellinger Mayor, KJZT Proclaim Flag Day

Ellinger Mayor Matt Mikulenka signed a proclamation designating June 14 as Flag Day in Ellinger. On hand for the signing were members of KJZT Family Life Society 41 of Ellinger.
