Sen. Kolkhorst to Speak at Memorial Day Ceremony

American Legion Post 602 Women’s Auxiliary has planned another outstanding program for Memorial Day featuring Senator Lois Kolkhorst as guest speaker. The ceremony will honor fallen veterans and feature the post’s honor guard, a gun salute by the rifle team, and entertainment by local musicians.

LHS Graduation is Thursday at Leopard Stadium

La Grange High School’s graduation is set for Thursday May 21 at 8 p.m. at Leopard Stadium. Only clear bags will be allowed in the stadium. Gates will open at 6:30 p.m. Seating at the football stadium will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, with access available on both sides of the stadium. In the event of inclement weather, the graduation ceremony will be relocated to the gymnasium. Each graduate will be issued six tickets for entry into the gymnasium.

Granny Winners Coach Special Local Choir

Residents of Fayette County were treated to a concert by “The Gray Legacy Bluebird Choir” at the Bugle Boy Wednesday afternoon as part of the Bugle Boy Foundation’s music-based outreach programs.
