Here’s the lineup of the Christmas fun in Round Top Saturday: 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Mechele Dorsey shared these photos of the 62nd Anniversary All Veterans Day event honoring all Veterans of all eras in Praha. A Patriotic Rosary was held by the Catholic Daughters of America in Praha Church. Mass was offered to all Veterans. The Veterans Memorial Service was held at 11 a.m. with a flyover by the Air Force at noon. The guest speaker was Travis Seale, Major US Army. A Praha style fried chicken dinner with all the trimmings was served. The annual event is sponsored by the Praha Veterans Club and Vietnam Veterans Chapter 870.

The Madison County Sheriff’s Office and the FBI Bryan Resident Agency (RA) have released a new facial reconstruction image in the 2016 death of a child known only as “Baby Madison.” Investigators are asking anyone who may know the child’s identity to please contact law enforcement.

Fayette Electric Cooperative (FEC) recently reached a significant milestone by delivering books to more than 500 children through its collaboration with Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library. This initiative has made a meaningful difference in the communities FEC serves. Since its launch in August 2022, the program has distributed over 5,599 books to 564 children, completely free of charge to participating families.
