Moravia Store recently won 1st Place in the 7th Annual Ronald McDonald House Charities Pull Tab Competition. Local chapters host annual pull tab competitions and challenges where schools, businesses, and communities collect aluminum tabs to raise money and awareness. The tabs are weighed and recycled, with the proceeds supporting the mission of keeping families close. This week marks the 99th edition of The Fayette County Fair, a beloved local tradition that began more than 100 years ago. Thanks to Rox Ann Johnson at the Fayette Heritage Museum and Archives, we’ve learned a lot of surprising history of the fair.
