Wyatt Hassel Dies at 49

Wyatt Aaron Hassel, 49, passed away on October 13 while on a motorcycle trip in West Texas with some of his friends.

Hassel is the son of Renee and Bill Hassel. Bill was a longtime pastor at St. Paul Lutheran Church in La Grange.

Wyatt graduated from La Grange High School and later Tulane University with an MBA and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering Earlier this year he was hired by Freshpet Inc. as their VP, Manufacturing after a long career as General Manager – Master Planning and Production Control at H.E.B Grocery Company, where he had oversight of production operations for 13 facilities and led continuous improvement efforts for products developed in-store at HEB.
