Winners of Habitat Chess Tournament

The Habitat Gambit 2023 Chess Tournament was held April 22 at the Randolph Recreation Center. This may have been the first ever non-scholastic chess tournament held in Fayette County. The participants included members of chess clubs in Bastrop, La Grange, Round Top and Weimar. The age range of the players was Kindergarten to Adult, who competed in two divisions.
