Wilson Named to All-Conference Team, SJS MVP

Nathan Wilson, a senior at St. John’s School in Houston, was named to the All-Conference team for the Southwest Preparatory Conference, which includes 18 private schools in Texas and Oklahoma that are recognized for their academic excellence.

Nathan, the starting center fielder for the SJS Mavericks, also received the Most Valuable Player award for his high school team.

Nathan is the grandson of Sue and Grover Shade of Smithville and Muldoon and the daughter of Mike and Jennifer Wilson of Houston. (Jennifer is a 1989 graduate of Smithville High School.)

Nathan will continue his baseball career next year at Whitman College (NCAA DIII), where he was awarded two academic scholarships.
