Vote Recount Here Short-Lived When Everything Checks Out

Elections administrator Donna Macik said one of the three candidates in that race, Abe Pace, requested the recount. It was conducted on Friday morning, March. 13.

“Mr. Pace came in this morning and we counted the ballots by mail and box 204,” Macik said. “Both came out perfect.”

At that point, Macik said, Pace decided to cease the recount. The unofficial results remain the same. The incumbent, Clint Sternadel, won the election with 914 votes, amounting to 52.68% of the total. Chad Tiemann came in second with 706 votes, or 40.69%. Pace came in third with 115 votes, or 6.63%.
