VFW Hears from Boys State Participant

The La Grange VFW Post 5254 hosted La Grange High School Senior Veer Desai and his parents, Satish and Dimpal Desai, at its meeting on Tuesday, July 18. Veer related to the Post and its Auxiliary his experiences as a delegate to the 2023 Boys State program held on the UT-Austin campus June 11-16. He learned how to run for office and get elected, and he learned. among other things, how the political process works in our two-party system.
