VFD Takes Delivery of New Fire Engine
The Muldoon Fire Department just received their new Fouts Brothers FB94 Spartan Engine, with a 1,000 gallon water tank and 1,500 gpm pump. The engine was purchased from Metro Fire Apparatus Specialists out of Houston. Muldoon FD would like to extend their gratitude to Todd Johnson from Metro for his extensive assistance with this purchase.
This new addition replaces a 26 year old engine. Muldoon Fire Chief Stephen Kelly states that the safety of the firefighters and families in our community was the departments’ priority when making this purchase.
“We are very excited and could not have done it without the help from the community,” Kelly said. “The one thing the Firefighters liked the best was the air-conditioner works!”
The Muldoon Volunteer Fire Department serves an area that covers 136 square miles in western Fayette County.
