Catholic Life Insurance helped 69 Texas Catholic Schools sell tickets to raise over $1.16 million during the 17th annual Catholic Schools Sweepstakes.
The grand prize winner purchased the winning ticket from a student at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic School in Dallas. The choice of prizes included a Roman Holiday Vacation for Four or a $20,000 prepaid gift card. The second grand prize winner received a $2,500 prepaid gift card and purchased their ticket from Immaculate Conception Catholic School in Grand Prairie.
All together, Catholic Schools in the Diocese of Victoria raised a total of $143,500.
Roland Vacek was the overall St. Rose of Lima Catholic School winner in Schulenburg receiving a $1,000 Visa gift card from Catholic Life Insurance. Roland bought his winning ticket from his nephew Nathan Vacek.
