Undercover Narcotics Unit Locates Heroin And Meth

On Sept. 6, the Fayette County Undercover Narcotics Unit effected a traffic stop on a vehicle in the La Grange area for a traffic violation. An investigation into the traffic stop yielded information that the subjects in the vehicle were traveling to the La Grange area from Austin.

During the investigation, probable cause was found to conduct a search on the vehicle. Investigators located 5 oz. of methamphetamine, a small amount of heroin, and packaging consistent with sale of narcotics.

Arrested and charged with manufacture/deliver of a controlled substance was 41-yearold Ruben Davila of Austin, and 44-year-old Andrew Vallejo, also of Austin.
