TxDOT Bryant Rd. Bridge Replacement Project Completed

Pct. 4 Commissioner Drew Brossmann wished to inform the public that the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) Bridge Grant project is complete on Bryant Rd.

“I would like to thank Tx-DOT for their continued support of Fayette County with assisting us with the replacement of these out of date bridges,” Brossmann said. “It is a tremendous savings to the county tax payers to have this type of grant funding through the state of Texas. This is big step toward upgrading our aging infrastructure. The engineering and construction of these bridges are designed to last a lifetime. I would like to thank the public for being patient and willing to work with the county so we may continue moving forward on our projects.”

Brossmann said the county will start another bridge project on Munke Rd. This bridge is located over Criswell Creek. The demolition date is set for Dec. 4. He urges all citizens to use caution while traveling in this area. The projected completion for the Munke Rd. bridge is mid-January.
