Turtle Wing Monster Dash Oct. 22

It’s time to break out your costume ideas and welcome in the Fall with family fun at the 10th Annual Turtle Wing Foundation Monster Dash. This year it will be held on Saturday, Oct. 22 from 5-7 p.m. with activities happening at Jack & Mary’s 610 Lyons Ave., Schulenburg or on Anderson St. just south of their yard. There is no charge for any of the fun. Costume Contest, Boo Around the Block, and the Dash itself are all free of charge. Monster Dash Timeline:

4:30 p.m. Check-in for Boo Around the Block (organizations and businesses can still sign up) 5 p.m. Boo Around the Block begins along with Costume Contest judging, Monster Dash heats, food, music, and silent auction.

6:15 p.m. On Pointe Dance Studio performance 6:30 p.m. Costume contest winners announced along with silent auction and Dash winners 7 p.m. Monster Dash concludes Turtle Wing Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization which helps individuals with academic, social-emotional, behavioral and/or developmental needs. Their service area includes Colorado, Fayette, Lavaca and surrounding counties. Turtle Wing provided Early Intervention and Supplemental Services to over 250 children last year with thousands more being impacted by Community Education and Advocacy programming.
