Troopers Arrest Man For Stolen Vehicle, Possession Charges
Fayette County Sheriff Keith Korenek reports that on Tuesday, Sept. 13 around 10:36 a.m. the Fayette County Sheriff’s office dispatchers received information from Houston police that a reported 2022 grey Toyota Highlander vehicle was stolen from the Houston area and was traveling on Hwy. 159 westbound in the Rek Hill area towards Fayetteville.
Deputies responded to the area along with DPS troopers as the vehicle was tracked traveling on 159 as locations were updated the vehicle turned on Burnside Rd. and stopped at the intersection with Leslie Rd. DPS troopers Josh Berger and Mason Hartnett and multiple deputies arrived and the male subject was taken into custody without incident.
Arrested and transported to the Dan. R. Beck Justice Center was 42-year-old Justice Alliden Brown of Houston who was charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, possession of a controlled substance and failure to identify.
