Training for Daycare Teachers January 17

Turtle Wing Foundation and Parents as Teachers have teamed up to bring another continuing education training for daycare teachers.

The workshop, titled “Moving, Grooving & Creating” will be held Tuesday, Jan 17 at the First United Methodist Church in Weimar. Dinner will be served at 6 p.m. and the training will conclude at 8 p.m. Attendees will explore how Art & Music impacts children’s cognitive language, motor, and social/ emotional development, as well as participate in hands-on activities and have the ability to take the information provided back to their respective centers/ schools to implement.
